Annual General Meetings

We are very pleased that the Lord Mayor, Cr Anna Reynolds, will be the guest speaker following the Annual General Meetings on 26 March 2020 commencing at 7.30 pm.

The Lord Mayor has been a strong advocate of sustainability. We have invited her to speak about City of Hobart initiatives and plans on sustainability, as well as outlining her own ideas on the subject.

The Committee is aware of strong local interest in sustainable waste management, including recycling and the categorisation of some waste products. Many people are keen to know what they, as individuals, can do. It is hoped that we can harness this interest into a 'sustainable living' group in Mount Stuart, to look at both short-term and longer-term solutions. Please come along to hear what the Lord Mayor has in mind, or if you can’t make it to the AGM, but would like to become involved, please contact the Secretary, Stewart Gardner; email at: srgardner@bigpond.com
